Based on her experience as an intern, Caroline plans on pursuing a graduate degree in Public Health Administration. Caroline's work for the Senator has focused on doing legislative research related to health and human resource issues. In addition to her UW course work and volunteer tutoring, Caroline has also found time to intern for WI State Senator La Tonya Johnson's office. Caroline has also tutored high school students at Madison East high school as a participant in Americore's "Achievement Connections" Program. While at UW she has continued to tutor seventh and eighth grade students at Madison's Sennett Middle School as part of Badger Volunteers program. of Wisconsin Madison in order to pursue degrees in Economics and Mathematics. This is when Caroline discovered her second love, working with children.Īfter graduating from high school, Caroline chose the U. Caroline's high school volunteering activity included tutoring math twice a week at her local middle school. As one her high school's top student's, a four year member of the Varsity cross country team and an active volunteer in her community, Caroline was elected as an Officer in the high school National Honors Society. ![]() This fondness of the subject enabled her to excel in all of her high school math courses up to and including advanced placement Calculus AB. While in high school, Caroline discovered she had a talent and a love for mathematics. Caroline is from and attended high school in Bettendorf, IA.
